GUJARATI METHI THEPLA

GUJARATI  METHI  THEPLA :-)

Ingredients:

·         Wheat flour (gehu ka aata) – 2cups
·         Chopped Green Fenugreek leaves (katte harre methi ke patte)- half cup
·         Curd (dahi)- half cup
·         Onion paste (pissa hua pyaaz)- 1 big
·         Ginger paste (pissa hua adrak)- half teaspoon
·         Ginger paste (pissa hua lehsun)- half teaspoon
·         Green chilli paste (pissi huyi hari mirch)- half teaspoon
·         Turmeric powder (haldi powder)- half teaspoon
·         Salt -  to taste
·         Refined – to fry

Method:

·         Mix all the ingredients except refined, and kneed soft dough and keep aside for 20-25min. Again kneed it for 5min.
·         Take a small portion of dough and make ball. And roll the dough into thin chappatis/roti (can use dry flour too unlike we use while making roti)
·         Heat the tawa and spread one-fourth teaspoon of oil, just to grease it and place thepla on it.
·         Just after 10seconds, grease thepla with oil and turn upside down and keep on changing the side of thepla, so that it is not overdone…remove theplas bit soft.

Arre METHI THEPLAS are ready………… You can enjoy with achar or chutney of your choice…
Also you can relish this light and nutritious snack with tea..
Also you can pack when you are travelling kyuki ye do din to kum se kum kharab nai hote…. (baki zada humid aur garmi mein no guarantee JJ)……….
