TAVA KULCHA PIZZA

(Tava means flat disc shaped griddle)




Ingredients:

·         Bread Kulcha – 4
·         Capsicum sliced (lambi katti huyi shimla mirch)- 2 medium sized
·         Onion sliced (lambe katte pyaz)- 1 big
·         Red Tomatoes grinded (peese huye lal tamatar)- 3 medium sized
·         Corn boiled/frozen (ubaale huye makki ke daane)- half cup
·         Garlic finely chopped (bareek katta lehsun)- 2-3 cloves
·         Tomato ketchup (tamatar ki sauce)- 2 spoons
·         Refined oil – 2 spoons
·         Amul Pizza Cheese
·         Red Chilli powder (degi lal mirch) -1/4th tablespoon
·         Black pepper – pinch (chutki bhar kali mirch)
·         Salt- to taste

How to make:
  • ·         Take oil in frying pan/ kadhai, and add garlic
  • ·      Let garlic be little golden, then add onion, capsicum and sauté for 10-15 seconds, stirring continuously to avoid burning or overcooking (capsicum and onion must be crunchy)
  • ·         Add tomatoes, boiled corns and ketchup and mix well
  • ·         Stirr continuously for 10 seconds
  • ·         Add salt, black pepper and red chilli powder and mix well and turn off the flame
  • ·         Let this mixture be cool for 5 minutes
  • ·         Take a kulcha and evenly spread mixture on kulcha top
  • ·         Sprinkle grated amul pizza cheese (1-2spoons per kulcha) 
  • ·      Make this kulcha pizza on tawa or flat non-stick frying pan. Put kulcha with toppings on tawa and cover it with steel thaali / or take flat frying pan and place kulcha with toppings on it and place lid on it, on slow flame for 30 seconds or till cheese melts, then remove thaali / lid and let its base be bit crisp on slow flame.
  • ·         This kulcha pizza is soft from top and bit crisp from the base
