BESAN KA SHEERA

          Be it a Monsoon time or Winters..... everyone Love these Seasons...  But one thing no one loves..                                                                         
                                                                  DRY COUGH..  :(             
                                            
 Let me share a secret with you all... 
Not every medicine is bitter.. Let me a share very sweet and yummy homemade remedy for Dry cough :)  BESAN KA SHEERA


INGREDIENTS: (serves 2)
  • Bengal gram flour (Besan)- 1/2 cup
  • Clarified Butter (Desi Ghee) - 2-3 big spoons
  • Milk (doodh)- 1 and half cup
  • Sugar- little less than half cup
  • Cardamom powder (chhoti elaichi peesi huyi) - 1/4th teaspoon
  • Crushed Almonds (badam peesa hua) (Optional) - 2 teaspoon
HOW TO MAKE:

  • Take a heavy base kadhai/ pan. Add ghee and besan. Keep stirring on low flame till besan is roasted and color turns into golden brown (make sure it doesn’t burn)
  • Add milk and stir continuously so that no lump forms
  • Add sugar, cardamom powder and crushed almonds
  • Bring to boil stirring continuously till little thickens. (Keep this Sheera thin in consistency, as it becomes easy to swallow in dry cough)
Enjoy Super Yummy hot Sheera n kick off dry cough…. :)  (Prefer having when you are about to sleep for few hours)    Otherwise also, You can also enjoy this Sheera in monsoon and winters.
