INSTANT ONION TOMATO UTTPAM



WELCOME to South Indian Corner... Be it be a breakfast, lunch or dinner..... just relish this Instant Onion Tomato Uttapam 

























Ingredients: (4 servings)
  • Semolina (sooji)- 2 cups
  • Curd (dahi) - 1 cup
  • Eno (lemon flavor) - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion chopped ( madhyam katta pyaaz)- 3 medium sized
  • Red tomatoes chopped (bareek katta lal tamatar)- 3 medium sized
  • Green coriander chopped (bareek katta hara dhaniya)- half cup
  • Green chilies chopped (bareek katti hari mirch) - 4
  • Refined oil- half cup
  • Salt- to taste
How to Make :

  • Take semolina in a big bowl and add curd, half teaspoon salt and beat well to form smooth medium thick paste
  • Add eno and mix well
  • Heat tawa (prefer non stick tawa to make it more healthy) and grease it with a spoon of refined oil
  • Spread batter on tawa in clockwise direction with help of big spoon and spread evenly to give it round shape 
  • While batter is still wet, evenly spread chopped onion, tomato, green coriander and green chilies evenly, so that onion and tomato sticks nicely
  • Spread few drops of oil if it is sticking on tawa, once its base is cooked, with help of spatula, turn upside down and press slightly, so that onion and tomatoes are bit roasted (can spread few drops of oil to avoid sticking) and remove it on plate.
